Coco moco coco the naughty mouse

With her adorable clothes
Coco moco coco was whiter than white.
With the new fashion leg
Now she always wears the newest tights.

She would show off her clothes
And walk in the sun
And all the people love it
For her that's what you call fun

But at night she was horrifying she would go to the mall
And sneak under the door
And steel everything
Only because she was poor

She would get the clothes
And make it sparkly and acsessorise
Only because all her clothes
Have to be the right size

One night her mousy ways
Got herself into trouble
The manager set a rodent trap
And trapped her in a bubble

The security guard that found her
Had a heart of gold
He let her loose outside
But then she was forced to live in the cold

The Cultural festival 2012

It's finally the day of the Cultural Festival I'm so nervous! When we got on bus butterflies came to me all that ride they were stuck in my tummy!. We made it to the CBS Arena wearing our dresses then it's time for hair and make up. We had black lipstick, earrings and feathers in our hair I was hoping we would not mess up. We watched a couple of schools then it was time for us to go on.
I was nervous I had to go toilet but I couldn't because we were walking on stage. When I got on stage I felt good. The boys Haka was good but the girls were great. Kapioioe was pretty easy going back and fords We were awesome the crowd loves us! For the big guns we sang ' Reach' with poi I got my poi stuck on my hip it was very embarrassing! The crowd went wild "go burnham you're the best". I could hear from the audience. We were great at swinging the poi around toro kina Whetu la la la la la.               We were amazing the best school ever the crowd went wild again. I felt so prowd and my parents were so prowd too. It was one of my best performance ever.

Lilly at the Twin Towers Memorial

Mum, Dad and I are on holiday in New York City, USA. We have seen lots of awesome things. The other day we went to the World Trade Centre Memorial. This remembers the 2,893 people that were killed on 11 September 2001 when terrorists attacked America.

The memorial was beautiful, with everyone's name written on the side of the twin pools, which were exactly where the twin towers stood. Being at the memorial was very sad, because all those innocent people died because of this horrible attack.

This is important, because a lot of Army kid's have had a mum or dad that has served in Afghanistan, which was caused by the attack on the twin towers. We didn't seem any names we knew, but we felt very sad for all the families that had lost someone special.

We saw a tree called the 'survival tree' that survived the collapse of the towers, and a large storm, and was nursed back to life. This is right next to the South Pool. We also saw lots of cops with guns protecting the memorial site, and tourists. We had to wait ages to get in, and go through X-Ray security like the airport.

We are very glad that this type of violence hasn't happened in New Zealand. This attack killed 15 x more people than died in the Christchurch earthquake. This is almost as much people as live in Waimate, where my Dad grew up.

My 3D Shapes

Today in Maths we were making cubes into different shapes. Then we had to try and draw them onto our dot paper which makes them look 3D. We were using a Geometry book. Geometry means the study of shapes.

Autumn

In Autumn coloured leaves like brown red yellow green orange and gold get forced to fall of the tree's. Then the tree's are absolutely naked. The tree's and leaves will cry and cry because they're seperated. Kids  still love to play in the leaves they can make piles of leaves and fall in them in makes a crunch, crack and crackle. Kids can make an obstacle  course and jump in  the leaves. I love Autumn.
